Column colorization forces color in specific columns regardless of the contained text. This mode is useful for languages like Fortran-77 which assigns some columns a specific use.
Any number of column regions can be defined, with some defined as using syntax colorization instead of a fixed color, as the Normal Text Columns in the sample below.
